I was really wishing they would start using Brianna in the same capacity they're using Kiran Chetry (if not in a regular anchor spot.) Before Kiran came on board I felt like Brianna was on the verge of getting major air time but I'm afraid Kiran's gonna edge out other talent who are at least equally talented and have been there longer. Oh, well - I luv me some Brianna- I'll just keep my fingers crossed that I'll happen to catch her when they can get her on.

I wish they would move Brianna from D.C. to Atlanta since none of the regular anchors seem to be able to make it to work anymore, this would be a perfect opportunity for her to just fill in wherever they need her. Granted, I think it should be 'All News, All Brianna, All day long' so I'm a little partial. lol. For example, on my lunch break I got to catch the weather dude doing the news today. I know the ladies love Rob but I would probably actually record the news if I knew Bree was gonna be on. Fortunately on my break the other day I got to see her covering the Libby trial - esp. when she quoted someone saying "I love you" (insert Snoopy dance here.) Sigh, cheap thrills.

Holy crap! I was stuck on a plane today and missed Brianna!! She def. looked hot in the screen cap. Even though I didn't get to see even a second of her broadcast I'm stoked that they used her instead of Kiran Chetry. I agree about the "bones" description; Kiran stop wearing those tight little shirts- there's nothing there to show off! End of rant. Brianna looks absolutely gorgeous. As they were go to or coming from commercial towards the end of the broadcast a song came on and she started dancing in her chair. It was short but she was really getting into it and it was very cute. Grrrrrr, I'd love to have gotten a tape of that.

I have debated quitting my job just so I can concentrate my full efforts into tracking down this pic. LOL. I have had no luck so far but if I do you'll be the first to know. The worst kind of waiting
When I first arrived today at Virginia Tech, I was directed by campus staff through a large hallway off a ballroom at the Alumni Center. It had already become the worst kind of waiting room. This was where many students and parents were gathering -- pockets of people who hadn't heard from their friend or child since the shootings.

A group of engineering students was looking for some friends who might have been in Norris Hall during the second shooting. One was optimistic that he probably couldn't reach some of them because of how people scattered from the campus. Many were on their cell phones. I heard one say, "Yes, I'm trying to locate ..."

When I came back a couple hours later, the change in mood was palpable. I have never seen that look on a person's face before, let alone on so many faces.

Shock. The realization that today and every day after will be so, so different.

'We are family'
People continued to flock to Virginia Tech's Drill Field today to write messages on makeshift memorials -- large boards set up on either side of 32 stones, one for each victim -- arranged in a semi-circle.

Students and visitors walked slowly along the boards, many of them crying as they read the messages.

Some of the messages:

I think this has been a really long week for her, she was the 1st on the scene and is still there and has been doing early morning and late night reports and apparently updates all during the day. This morning she looked like she was about to fall out of her chair and go back to sleep. When she was giving her report her voice sounded like: "I - just - want - to - ssslllleeeeep." That's prob. not the look she's going for but she's still cute as hell. Oh, and the tight see-thru shirts def. make up for any lack of consciousness on her part. LOL.

Great cap, ! I happened to be watching the Vietnam Memorial service on Pipeline and when they finished it, as I was about to turn it off, Brianna stepped in front of the live cam while it was still rolling and they were refocusing the cam. and zooming in on dif. parts of her face and jacket. It would zoom in on her eye then back up, then zoom in on her mouth then back up, then back at her eye. She started playing with her hair and earpiece and talking to someone off screen and asked, "Do you want me to back up? Do I need to move?" and I was thinkin' "Hell, no." Then the screen went black. Damn, why don't they have a pipeline that just shows them getting ready to do their live shots? It's a lot more interesting.

I'm gonna take a break for a second from drooling over Brianna and talking about how smokin' hot she is to compliment her on her anchoring lately. I've noticed the last few times she's anchored she seems a lot more confident and relaxed, more like she's owning the desk when she's on now. She used to seem more like she was just supporting the regular co-anchor that would be with her but now she jumps in and adds more than just straight reading. Not so much like a "fill-in" but like an anchor. She's gonna get there before long.

I agree w/you Sabrina. I don't think she looks overweight but if she did want to do a daily segment about her jogging, even if it's only 15 feet, that'd be great. Full contact football was another good suggestion (gosh, Brianna, you got me again- I really suck at this. I guess we need to run another play) or better yet, "time to hit the showers, girl". I think she's got a great body. She doesn't need to change a thing.

I don't understand, we won't see her for weeks then she'll pop up in a high profile spot like filling in for Kiran or anchoring on Newsroom then nothing again. They've had several stories recently and I was sure she'd show up but no, it'd be Jim Acosta or even Mary Snow out in the field. There was a woman on a few weeks ago named Sasha Johnson who could pass for her cousin-- she'd be a nice back-up in case Bri wasn't available

You know, Brianna is like the polar opposite of Kiran Chetry. Kiran is brunette; Brianna is blonde. Kiran is dark and exotic-looking; Brianna is fair-skinned and classic California beauty. Kiran is short; Brianna is tall. Kiran is almost flat-chested even when pregnant; Brianna is busty. Kiran is slender and slim-hipped; Brianna is broad-shouldered and, yes, broad and womanly in the hips.

Personally, I much prefer Brianna but they are both beautiful ladies, and living proof that there is more than one way to be beautiful.

Great post, Itl. Yes, there are dif. types of beauty. I think she's perfect like she is (and don't think she needs to lose a pound), there are plenty of women on tv (esp. on the news) that look like they've got 10 y-old boy's bodies w/ 2 'skeeter bumps on their chests- I appreciate that she's got a normal woman's figure. Finally- a little variety. What feels better in your arms- a boney, scrawny woman (although that may be someone's idea of beauty) or a woman with a softer, feminine body?

I won't name any news women 'cause I'd get chased out of reportercaps town by someone but whoever wants their Paris Hilton body types can have them- I'll take Brianna any day.

Yeah, she's really beaming in that picture. The turkey story may not be much, but she's 27 years old and she's covering the president at the White House for one of the most prominent national news organizations. I'm sure she realizes how lucky she is to have come so far so fast.

yeah, i don't understand why she doesn't get more airtime. there's a few new people that i see a lot more (i'm thinking jessica yellin, et al) than Brianna. it would be great for her to get a more permanent spot, i just don't get why they don't promote her more. it's not like she's just gorgeous, she's really talented as a reporter and anchor, too. it's like having this really great resource and not tapping into it.

Wow was B crying on camera standing in front of the White House! (I guess that could do it for anyone.) Only 1 eye was tearing up though & she was rubbing it so I guess she must have gotten something in it. If u caught her report at the end 1 would have thot she was crying as there was a tear running down her cheek.

B was just on-- she's cut her hair really short and it's light brown now; totally changes her entire look- I almost didn't recognize her. I'll still hang on to her but it'll take a little while to get used to it. ;-)

I agree, she's lost some of her sparkle- she looks tired or something. I def. didn't think she needed to lose any weight; hope CNN wasn't pressuring her to do it. People just have a certain look- hers is "cute", not vixenish or pouty- she's cute, and they shouldn't try to change that- they've got enough of the other stuff, she stood out from the crowd.

And Sabrina, if she wore that and did the news I wouldn't be able to wipe the grin off my face even if she shaved her head and tattooed junk on her scalp

Well, I pulled a few caps off of videos posted to CNN.com on December 13, and while Sabrina's latest seems to show Brianna begging "please can I have a hamburger"

Santa brought Brianna's fans an early Christmas present and I slept thru it. Damn.

Hey Brian, I just got up again and saw that she's still on!! Woo-hoo! I also caught that she raised her left hand up when she was shuffling papers and it looked like she had an engagement or wedding ring on- maybe that's why she wasn't on for a while recently. Lucky guy! *sigh*

Just finished reading 60 pages of Brianna posts and loved every post. She is probably my favorite newsbabe out there, and that's saying something! Thanks for the great pics, especially the great HD caps. Brianna is so amazingly beautiful and lovely I think its good she doesn't have a more regular on-air slot, because I would never leave the house (ha)! She's just about perfect, wonderful voice, mature, composed and what a fantastic body. But maybe the thing I like about her most are her beautiful cheeks (on her face, come-on people). I'd give anything to rub mine against hers. Wait, that sounded wrong...

I doubt very much that Brianna's pregnant. First, professional women generally don't get pregnant after they are already engaged. And second, she looks to me like she is still thinner than she has been for most of her time at CNN. You can see from that high school video and other pics that she was quite thin when she was at MTV & CBS, but if you go back up this thread to the caps I've posted, since she joined CNN in 2006, in pretty much every cap that showed her body she was heavier than this. It's just the way she's built. She's gorgeous, but she's built like a normal woman, not a fashion model.

Brianna has done a good job recently but she's still a bit too shy on camera especially when hosting.

I know and she's getting better everytime but I'd still say that she has room for improvement. At first I thought she was all cute face and no charisma but she has improved a great deal in the last few weeks.

If she could just share the desk with anyone other than that annoying, phony, fake, over-animated Tony Harris, she'd be able to loosen up more. That guy makes everyone around him jumpy due to his pattern of trying to make everyone uncomfortable. That guy's poison.

But she has NEVER co-hosted with Tony!

And Tony/Fredricka made a good duo actually.

Sorry cnbcer, but she has, she did an entire week with him a few weeks ago. He's awful. He actually shouted at her and she jumped out of her chair, she had no idea what he was up to. He thought it was funny. Hate that guy. But she did share the desk with him. For an enitre week....9 a.m - 12 p.m.

Don't be sorry cnbcer, its cool. I just love her so much and she has no chance of shining when she shares the desk with that camera hog Harris. Its my curse, having to watch her and him in a 2 shot....
