To be honest, I too wrapped up in talking with her and Jodi Applegate that I really didn't pay a lot of attention to what she was eating. I think it was a pasta salad of some sort. Not sure.

Jodi was a surprise. She wasn't part of this deal but Chris brought her along. I probably wouldn't have recognized her as her hair was pulled back and she had glasses on.

So Jodi and Chris pal around despite being on different networks. I wonder how they met. Was Jansing at MSNBC when Jodi was there? I remember Jodi was the anchor who kicked off the network but I thought Jansing came much later.

They were together for a brief period I guess back when Chris started. I asked her how they met and she said they did Weekend Today together...
