I've been doing some stalking (i mean research) on Tamron Hall and one of her stories is very interesting. She had breast augmentation done and some idiot writer decided to oust her and write an article about her. She took it in stride and said it was something she did for herself she was 30 something and wanted something to be done, not for professional or any other motives. It seemed like a real controversy at the time. I feel bad her business was put on the street like that without her consent. She's a newswomen not a celebrity (at least not to most people) Obviously she recovered and is now doing national news so she has the last laugh. i like her even more now.

Oh yeah, her boobs are nice looking

If you guys went down to the local plastic - Cosmetic surgery office and sat in the lobby, I think you'd be surprised who walked in for a boob job. It's pretty common. If she wanted it done, good for her.

I am more and more impressed with her everytime i see her. She is an excellent anchor sharp, witty, personable and a killer smile. i become more and more of a fan each time i watch her.

MSNBC hit a homerun with getting Tamron. Today though I heard some sad news about her past. It seem her sister was murder perhaps by her sister's husband. Tamron went on about all the stuff she has been a part of such as abuse groups for women. She is simply one amazing woman. They need to keep her on Morning Joe from now.

I would say worry, but not yet. I went back and looked and her last appearance was on 1/4/08. So it hasn't even been two weeks. Though it seems like it's been forever because this nonstop political stuff just drags on and on and on and on...and what day is it?

Seriously, she's probably just taking some of that vacation time that her bosses wouldn't let her have last year

Good afternoon guys!
I am new to this site and I must say that I am very glad to not be the only person who is absolutely fond of Miss Tamron Hall!
I am located in Chicago, IL where I had the pleasure of watching Tamron every morning - she always brought a smile to my face with her sassy attitude, quick wit and dry humor!

Being an African American woman (fast approaching my 30's), Tamron is a breathe of fresh air! She was a role model to me and alot of my friends here and such an inspiration because of all of her success!

Now that she has left Fox Chicago, there is truly a void....I do not watch the morning news anymore because I cannot stand the twit they replaced her with!

I do have a ton of fond memories (including a the short haircut I have been rocking since seeing Tamrons - LOL!!!!)

If anyone could tell me what time I can find her on air - Central time - I would greatly appreciate it - I haven't been able to catch her at all!

It's been all male all the time since the primaries and caucuses started up. With the exception of maybe one day a week.

It's why I stopped capping it sometime in early January. Because 4 out of 5 days, I'd have 6 hours of some male I didn't want to see, and 2 hours of females. Yeah...that's all female alright, pass me the bong.

You ignoring the months and months and months of all female days before that? Since Randy Meir left, Peter Alexander was the only male who was ever on during the day and that was only a few times. Like I said Tamron and also Contessa simply have less experience covering politics than Russert, Schuster, Tucker etc.

Andrea Mitchell, Chis Jansing and Norah O'Donnell have been anchoring, so women are on.

Also, most of the men on this board watch cables news for the ladies. Not a male anchor qualified to talk about where Obama had his last meal, or who Clinton got her latest endorsement from. If we cared about that, we could look online or read the paper. BSNBC isn't meeting our needs, so we aren't watching. It's just that simple....

Though you're right, Contessa and Tamron don't have the experience. But I'll be damned if I'm going to watch Russert and crew...no thanks. I think I need to find something to smoke now

I'm not sure I agree with you about Contessa & Tamron not having the experience. But, I'm certain Alex Witt, Amy Robach, and Chris Jansing DID have the experience. And none of them are doing the Interviews. Norah has the experience and she's hosting but that's just one. Heck, Aelx Witt is one of the best Interviewers they have.

I like Olbermann a great deal, he makes sense of everything he says, he is very cordial to ALL of his guests, unlike that tool who's on at Fixed Noise at the same time! He's compassionate to a great deal of things, like last nights story of the idiot who smashed the kids school project in Texas that took them three years to work on, etc, etc, etc

Look, this subject is about TAMRON, the goddess that this network felt would bring them some notoriety, and she has. First of all disagree all you want, no one will try and stop you.

This is the single greatest messageboard in the history of the 'Net....Tamron Hall is a GODDESS! I greatly enjoy watching her...it was a treat to see her on "Hardball" the other day...I'm all for her being on MSNBC closer to the end of the day...rather than in the morning...I wish MSNBC would give her a show "Bedtime with Tamron" say at 10pm...with her in lingerie discussing what important issues might "come up" tomorrow...or she could just rehash the days events...

Hey everyone, I'm new here and I've only been a Tamron fan for about 3 months...she's de-damn-licious! I got my dad hooked like 2 weeks ago. I love how she retains little bits of her Texas accent like pronouncing the number 10 like the metal tin. I love how she looks like a Mii. Did you catch her today grilling the alien video guy, trying (unsuccessfully) not to laugh at him? Isn't it wonderful to watch her laugh--the way her shoulders shake when she's trying to hold it in...sigh. Thank you Lord for this oracle of information given us to worship and admire! OK that was a bit much...it's Friday, looks like she's pushing the envelope with the shirt color today--too bad she was offscreen most of the morning because of that crane accident on the Upper East Side (I'm from NY)...they put Contessa on so I came up here to talk to you guys and now I'm going to enjoy this spring day, having gotten my Tamron fix.

She's hot - period. Fake tatas or not, the camera loves this woman. Although I think she's a little top-heavy now. And c'mon... who can deny the resemblence of Halle Berry. Tamron DOES look like her - could easily pass for her sister. Know her through a friend of a friend- She's very intelligent, genuinely nice person. I think she has a long career ahead in front of the camera, but probably not doing hard news. She did great tonight with Tiki Barber on the "You've Got a Million" or whatever it was. What's up guys I'm Kevin and I tell you as much as I am a politics/news junkie (CNN, MSNBC, etc/) I LOVE even more keeping up on hot anchorwomen (U.S. and across the world, especially Mexico with Univision). Tamron is my GIRL--she is so gorgeous in every sense of the word...African-American, intelligent, classy, confident, sexy, sexy and--did I already mention it--SEXY with her behind and her beautiful breasts (lmao!). I have to tell you I thought Robin Meade was the sexiest woman on network/cable news but Tamron I think tops her (love you Robin--lol)!. By the way great site for just keeping up in general for network/cable news personalities!!! I love you Tamron!!!

As A point of interest, A breast augmentation is not the same as an implant. An implant is just what it says. An augmentation is more like re-arranging, to give the breast A more symmetrical look.

Has anyone read what the ratings were when Tamron was anchoring during the inauguration coverage

MSNBC finished "LAST" during the hours when she was working. You would think MSNBC would get a clue from this and not let her work so much. But becauseof her color they work her all the time and shove her down everyone's throats. So because they are scared to death of offending the blacks they put her everywhere.

Though it's pointless to deny that they are in fact using her for several hours a day, 5-6 days a week. We all know they do. My dvr catches four hours of BSNBC a day, which is spread out a bit (avoiding that pointless Andrea Mitchell hour, which should be long gone). And she appears in every single recording, every single time. Unless she has the day off, lol.

But...it's also silly to assume that the reason they're using her all the time because of race. At CNN, I could see that being the case. Everything's about race to them, as their inauguration coverage made very clear... ::)

But Tamron is clearly doing something that they like. Not that I give 'them' much credit anyway, I haven't for over a year now....

Maybe we'll never know. And to be honest, I really don't care if we ever do. But playing the race card is ridiculous unless you can prove it.

Thats just wrong! If you feel as if your favorite MSNBC anchor isnt getting enough time of the air just say it. But to blame Tamron for that is just wrong and saying that its because of her skin color is even worse especially when you have no evidence to back it up.

Tamron's ratings may not be that good, but i dont think that Contessa's or any other daytime anchor's ratings is that much better. MSNBC's daytime ratings as a whole isnt anything to brag about. Whoever your favorite is, if their ratings were any better they would probably get more air time.

I've talked with 2 people that worked with Tamron in Chicago and 1 that works with her now and all 3 of them had the same thing to say. Do you remember Christine Johnson and her temper tantrums, how she use to stomp her feet in anger ?? Well 'DITTO" . Just look at what is going on, everywhere you look she works, not because of her talent but because she is black, because of her huge ego, and because MSNBC is scared to death of having racial problems like they did with Imus. Same thing with this new guy Carlos, he works the afternoons with Contessa. But no one works as many hours as Tamron and after the ratings came in on how awful she had done you would think someone in charge would have woken up. But no, they just give her more time.

I'm sorry. But I'm not buying that MSNBC is only using her because they are afraid of racial problems. I have no idea about her ego. I don't know if she has temper tantrums or not. I don't even know what her ratings look like. If you can post those ratings, I'd love to see them. But it's hard for me to believe they give her extra work because of the color of her skin. If that were the case, they would have kept Alison Stewart. She was extremely popular and IMHO extraordinarily good at her job.

The guy I know that works at MSNBC has told me that Contessa and Monica have been told to tone down their looks for MSNBC wants to showcase Tamron. You will notice that when Tamron is around she gets all the standing in set scenes, showing off her fake boobs and legs. Both Contessa and Monica gets crap. However if Tamron is not better then both of them dress and look much better. Tamron has insisted on all close-ups. Watch steadily and you will see this is true. Also the ratings were posted about the inauguration coverage and MSNBC was "Last" every day when Tamron was working.

I meant to say when Tamron is not there then Contessa and Monica both look better. Did you see last Thursday when Tamron was gone and Monica did 4 hours she looked fantastic. Yet when Tamron is there she gets stuck in that control room. Also last Wednesday Contessa was stuck in the control room and Tamron did all 4 hours at the main desk. Favortism toward Tamron has definitely gotten to the top because of her color and Contessa getting fazed out is imminent.

I'm not trying to advocate that Thongor is right but....

I dvr 4 hours of BSNBC every day (looking for Contessa of course), and every day, I see a some of the things that he pointed out. That's as far as I'm going with this cuz I'm going to remain impartial.

Well, it's pretty hard not to hate BSNBC, even if you like Tamron. I have no problem with the on-air talent per se, except Schuster, that guy should've been axed long ago. If not that, at least removed from dayside. I don't want to see him throwing bombs at 10am....it's ridiculous.

You just can't take BSNBC seriously because they try to throw their slant on EVERYTHING now, even dayside....

I dont mean to be a bummer but here are the ratings for MSNBC for February. Seems to me like MSNBC's daytime anchors arent doing that bad. They definitely aint gonna move Tamron now.

Just like Robin Meade, Tamron Hall went national by way of my hometown of Chicago. While Robin worked at NBC5 building a bridge to "Today" before joining HLN in 2001, Tamron actually spent 10 years at FOX32 doing what was called "FOX News in the Morning" with David Novarro. It was the show that replaced Bob Sirott & Marianne Murciano and "FOX Thing in the Morning" after Bob & Marianne's contracts weren't renewed. Tamron's very attractive, but when she joined NBC News a few years ago, there was talk about her joining "Today". NBC News bosses didn't exactly have a place for Tamron on the network's morning news/talk show when she signed on, so don't get too excited about seeing her on "Today" like she was this morning. She's not replacing Amy, Meredith, Natalie, Ann, Hoda or Kathie Lee anytime soon. She's exclusively on MSNBC, and was just helping out "Today", no pun intended.

i am sure you guys heard of the shuffle thats coming on Monday at MSNBC. Tamron gets to co0host 2 hrs (3-5) and Norah is moved to the mornings. I think its safe to say that the brass at MSNBC are high on Tamron.

Giving Tamron 2hrs and leading in Ed Schultz is a big deal for her. the brass moved to quickly with Schuster because he just wasnt ready yet to host a show and at least MSNBC realized their mistake.

I was somewhat surprised they moved Norah to the mornings because i would have thought that if anything they would keep Norah at 3. But to move Norah, who is NBC's chief Wash Corres, and give her time slot to Tamron, who lets face it, isnt as experienced as Norah, is somewhat of a an eye opener. Norah had to be taken back a bit by the move. The piece that the NY Post had on Friday about Norah crying her eyes out may not have been true, but i think she had to at the very least be surprised and Tamron elated.

Hello, I'm new here. And I must say I'm VERY fond of your site and your message board. And those are some LOVELY pictures of news anchors and reporters you've got there. Especially of Tamron Hall. I remember Tamron from Fox News Chicago. I would usually watch her on the regular every morning. She has a SPARKLING personality and I hope she sticks around MSNBC a long time.

Before Tamron Hall joined MSNBC, she worked here in Chicago at FOX32 for about a decade. While she was definitely easy on the eyes when she co-anchored what was then called "FOX News in the Morning", a local morning news/talk show that aired opposite "The Today Show", there were stories about Tamron wanting to go national for the longest time. She received an early departure from her contract at WFLD, and it's believed her diva-like behavior off the air got her out of Chicago and off to New York where she continues to work most of the time at MSNBC, and only on a very, very limited basis on NBC News' "Today". I don't know if Tamron's dream job is doing "Today" like a certain former New York Giant named Tiki Barber, who I don't see on that show anymore...

I was a regular viewer of "FOX Thing' myself when Bob Sirott & Marianne Murciano anchored the show back in the '90s. I do remember Tamron sitting in with Bob very briefly before bosses at FOX32 decided to make Bob & Marianne expendable. Novarro's contract was about to expire, and he was facing sure unemployment when FOX Chicago management recently decided to drop its 10p newscast simply called "The Ten" in favor of nightly reruns of "The Office", which start September 21st. To say "what a long, strange trip it's been" would be an understatement in Novarro's case.

No, that's exactly what we want to happen! Get her off that minor league network and over to the Today Show. msnbc force feeds her so much political garbage, she can't do her job the way she wants to. This is very noticeable when she's on the Today Show. She doesn't have some producer barking radical left wing views into her ear...among other outlandish things....
